Woody Paige claims he has insider information and Isiah Thomas is finally getting canned in the next few days. A little late if you ask me, lol. Are you next, Kup?

Oh, well, Woody Paige, that pretty much insures its accuracy, or lack thereof.

That's exactly what I thought. I was hoping Lakers Briantrust would get a reminder though.

I dunno, I'll believe it when I see it. It'd be hard for NY to release Thomas with his current legal situation and NY would basically have to eat crow and acknowledge publicly that they've been screwing up hard. Everyone already knows it, but it's more Dolan's style to go into spin control.

Dolan is travelling with the team. Thomas cancelled a Euro scouting trip to accompany him. You decide if Isiah's feeling the heat.

it doesnt matter as long as he is gone and things get rolling.
This organization needs to overhaul the way they acquire players, trade, draft and scout, negotiate..etc..

Better find a good hypnotist, no one wants to do the Lakers any favors.

I posted this earlier today... but I feel like you, legal situation needs to be settle first....

Quote:
I was listening to SAS's show today, when he got 'pulled' off the air for a 'breaking story'. He was gone for about 15 minutes,.. when he came back he said he was unable to to confirm and did not want to speculate, but it sounded like somebody in the Knick's organization is going bye bye...

After SAS's show went off the air, Dan Patrick commented that the Knicks Management met the team in Memphis this morning... Zeke was on his way to Europe to scout, however the trip was canceled....

Stay Tuned...

Knicks may be bad but at least they realize it.

Lakers just sit there and don't do a thing.

The ideal situation would be for the Knicks to fire Thomas so we can hire him...

...as a draft consultant only.

Really its all the same, The Knicks are making moves but aren't improving. The Lakers aren't making moves and aren't improving. I think the Lakers are the lesser of two evils. But the difference is the Knicks organization realizes that they messed up and are trying to rectify the situation whereas the Lakers are making excuses and refuse to take any blame.

The Lakers have a good chance of making the playoffs in the much tougher Western conference, this year, with one of the youngest teams in the League. Not to mention having a balance sheet that would not give a CPA cardiac arrest. Compare that to what the Knicks are doing in the Eastern Conf. having buried themselves financially so deep that even with perfect management from here on out, most of their fans will not live long enough to see them have cap relief.

The Lakers may not be winning any championships in the very near future, but at least they have a future. I know Laker fans are used to contending, but at least have some perspective.

...im glad to see their are a few other level headed laker fans. I want to be a contender as much as anyone but i still understand what we have accomplished , and its really an achiviement considering the curcumistance and out CBA like roster outside of kobe and lamar.

They also need to fire Larry Brown....but I digress.

Isiah Thomas will go down as one of the worst GM's in history with what he has done to the Knicks. It's hard to imagine anyone could **** the Knicks harder than Layden did, but Dolan searched and found someone who could.

It's call accountability. People must be responsible for their actions, words and deeds. Other teams hold their GM accountable.

The Knicks realize that and is holding Isiah accountable for his actions. The Lakers should realize it and hold Kupcake accountable of his inactions.

Go back and read about Kupcake's comments when he traded for Shaq and didn't win a championship.

He said that we will NOT rebuild. I don't want to be like the "Bulls".

What are we now? We are not like the bulls but close to it. A team with no direction and lousy pieces put together by our GM.
