If that was the case then the NBA wouldn't have faced a revenue shortfall last season.

Less but DEFINITELY not peanuts.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/30211678/nba-revenue-2019-20-season-dropped-10-83-billion-sources-say

$800 M loss last year as a result of loss in gate receipts and that was just for the games post lockdown. Extrapolate that over a full season. Then add concessions, parking, merchandise. It's astronomical.

It looked like a Suns guy started it? But whatever the case that was some world-class pathetic behavior all the way around.

There will always be people who act badly.

But there are many reasons you want fans in the stands:

1. Additional revenue -- sure, TV money is the big thing, but fan revenue is significant.

2. Environment. Having people in the stands just makes the games different. That is why there is a home court advantage.

100000000000% the fault of that woman who struck the brother first. Some (bleep) people think they can go through life with no repercussions for their actions. (bleep) that. Her poor BF/husband got flatlined because of this moron.
