Luke Walton is NOT in the rotation. Hopefully he finishes this game with a DNP-Coaches Decision. Guy was bringing absolutely NOTHING to this team. In the staples ive been hearin alot more boooos than luuuuukes lately. |

I've noticed it too before. Limited minutes for Luke = Lakers victory!
I'm glad Turiaf's getting his minutes. _________________

It's a good thing he picked Luke over Jumaine. Couldn't have used Jumaine this year at all. |

Yeah, but he's still out of sync with time management and substitutions. Once again, strange line-up in the 4th that almost made it a game. He doesn't use Bynum at all, then all of a sudden the kid is in the 4th quarter crunch time. What sense does that make? Afraid to use Andrew during the game because he may screw things up, but not afraid to use him when the game is on the line? That's just freaking strange. |

Now we just have to hope he realizes Sasha should be on the bench as well... _________________ "My thirst for domination is fed only by the game. I refuse to get distracted by outside forces." - Kobe Bryant |

He didn't figure it out yet because he isn't on the injury list. |

YOU MISSED A KEY FACTOR!
KWAME DIDN'T START
Phil has figured out our rotation... 6 seed here we come! _________________ "To me he is the best player in the world right now. That guy doesn't know fear at all. He doesn't care. He would have won it for the Americans single-handedly." Dirk Nowitzki |

Nothing was figured out.
They just played defense. The difference was the TO and points of TO's. Lakers dominated them through forcing TO's.
That's team defense and what this team needs to do to make the playoffs.
Whenever these guys play good sound team defense they are a good team. When they don't, they can lose to anyone. |

There it is Wolfy... The Lakers capitolized on 13 turnovers for about 17pts in the first half alone... Otherwise it is a completely differant game and, one they just as easily could have lost... _________________ "According to ESPN.com's conference projections, the Lakers will finish 12th in the West, which prompted Bryant to tweet earlier this offseason, "12th I see.." |

Forget the game and how it turned out. Luke Walton did not play and the Lakers were successful. That is a step in the right direction. |

Amen brother. I hope Luke doesn't get any minutes except in garbage time. Now if we can only get another guard so Sasha can sit right next to Luke. I swear Sasha was in tears again the way Arroyo just violated him again and again in front of 18,000 people. _________________ Ringo "You retired too?"

Every time I see Jumaine play, I'm upset the Lakers let him go for seemingly nothing. I'm not sure how many minutes he'd have had if he was kept with the Lakers, but I do think he'd have had more valuable minutes than Luke out there.
Luke has spurts of decent game, and lacks in a lot of other things. Time to move on though I guess. |

oh where oh where are the people who claimed Walton as key player off the bench (many even wanted him to start) before this season began? _________________ (bleep) Kawhi |

They didn't play good sound team defense; they allowed Orlando to shoot almost 53% from the floor. The Lakers rebounded well in the second half, were active in the passing lanes and more importantly converted turnovers into points, but tonight was certainly no defensive template for victory, especially against better teams who do a much better job at protecting the ball. |

Phil figured it out on the 3rd quarter, but the result was a bad 4th quarter. |

well... hes forced to play because there is no other option. That doesnt change what lakelakelake said... He "should" be on the bench. Hes lucky to be on a roster void of "NBA" talent. |

The decision to keep Luke Walton over Jumaine Jones was strictly stupid. Waltons knowledge of the triangle has no bearing if he is only having a negative impact on the game, both offensively and defensively. Jumaine should have been retained and we could have one 3 or more games this year. He provided hustle, smarts, offensive rebounding, and a steady jumpshot. Perfect team player. Phil once again getting rid of a player he has already pre-judged.(Ruben Patterson) THATS RACIST. hopefully he can be resigned in the summer for the LLE |

Luke needs to remain on the bench. That's the best spot for him. Also, everything starts on the defensive end of the floor. Last night, we forced a lot of turnovers and got a lot of easy baskets. We need to be consistent and continue doing that tonight at Portland. |
