Yeah there's been very little news so far today. Lots of rehash from yesterday's news. |

DWIGHT OUT - LBJ GAMETIME - SAME STARTERS (LIKELY)
Per Faigen
LeBron James is a gametime decision, Dwight is out. Frank expects to have the same starters as last game. Yes, I'm aware that's slightly contradictory given the LeBron update.

Per Trudell
Same starters tonight vs. Houston as last game: Westbrook, Bradley, Bazemore, LeBron and Davis.
Vogel said LeBron is technically a game-time decision, but he’s expecting that he will play.
Dwight Howard (neck) is out for a second straight game.

VOGEL STILL EXPERIMENTING
Per Goon
Frank Vogel says “we do intend to start big again soon,” but that the Lakers intend to keep looking at both small and big lineups throughout the season. Says there haven’t been hard conversations with Howard or Jordan because the group mindset is sacrificing to win a title.

WAYNE IS BACK, STARTERS, AND OTHER THOUGHTS
Per Faigen
DeAndre Jordan, Anthony Davis, Avery Bradley, Kent Bazemore and Russell Westbrook are your Lakers starters tonight, per Frank Vogel.
https://twitter.com/hmfaigen/status/1456423297600557059?s=21
Frank Vogel says that Wayne Ellington will make his Lakers debut tonight, joking that his minutes restriction is "48. 53 if overtime... No, we just will be responsible."
https://twitter.com/hmfaigen/status/1456424266321203225?s=21
Frank Vogel, on his level of concern with LeBron.
"Hopefully he'll be back soon... He doesn't know exactly what happened... He felt something pulling (in the fourth quarter)."
https://twitter.com/hmfaigen/status/1456423123281088554?s=21
Vogel adds that the medical staff does not think this injury is related to LeBron's previous groin injury.

LEBRON INJURY PERSPECTIVE
Again – I don't think he works directly with LeBron but this is his field a specialty.
Per Stotts
Re: LeBron: James’ injury involves the rectus abdominis (the “six-pack” muscle), a muscle most active in trunk flexion that also stabilizes the pelvis. The average missed time for an abdominal strain in the NBA is ~4 games.

When was the last time AD was NOT a game time decision due to his low pain threshold? |
