If every team in the NBA that is dealing with the health and safety protocols had the same attitude as you there would be no point in playing anymore. |
Most teams are having players go in and out with injury or protocol but not every team is suffering in terms of their performance. And you can tell the teams that have been consistent and playing together. I believe that was Mamba Mentality's point and I agree. |
In terms of short term yeah it’s gonna sting but long term it shouldn’t affect the Lakers or anyone that is dealing with the health and safety protocols protocols, this is something we just have to live with until the virus and rising cases are destroyed. |
Well two things on that in my opinion first of all I don't know that this is a long-term thing that the Lakers went for, it seems very much a Win Now move. But secondly if it is long-term then at the point it's not another complete roster turnover it's consistency like other teams that have been together long term.
This roster was a gamble and injuries plus the current world situation only adds to the odds. We won't see if this all pays off until the end of the season. |

REASONING BEHIND CHICAGO GAME LATER START TIME
Per Goon
More to the point here: The later start allows the NBA to get test results back in time for tip-off. The league has been testing more with the uptick in positive cases.

INJURIES FROM THE OTHER SIDE - DALLAS
Per Mavs PR
Sterling Brown (left foot soreness) is questionable for tomorrow night's game against the Lakers.
Willie Cauley-Stein (personal reasons) and Luka Dončić (left ankle soreness) will be out.

On the money, TDRock. Every team has players in and out of the line up, but can more or less still get wins on the board. We are over .500 this very moment, but we had the easiest schedule thus far and haven't beaten a team at or above .500 since November 10th. The early season struggles have more to do with complete roster overhaul and injuries/safety protocols add more to it because it gives us less time to gel. It's a disadvantage we gave ourselves. _________________ “You can't be held captive by the fear of failure or the fear of what people may say.” - Kobe Bryant |

MORE HEALTH AND SAFETY
Per Trudell
Dwight Howard and Malik Monk have entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols and are out against Dallas on Wednesday night.
As announced earlier today, Talen Horton-Tucker is also in protocols.

NO BILLYMAC TONIGHT
Per Woike
Lakers play by play man Bill Macdonald will not call tonight’s game between the Lakers and Mavericks because he tested positive for COVID-19. He’s asymptomatic and isolating. Latest in a series positives that includes three players

Awesome. I was disappointed he completely fell out. I thought that was a bit ridiculous. _________________ Author of James Harden and the Strip Club

Lakers have brought in their two-way players Jay Huff and Chaundee Brown tonight in Dallas to compensate for being down to 10 players.
