IN GAME INJURIES - VOGEL ON LEBRON
Per Goon
Vogel used the word "hobbled" to describe LeBron on defense in the second half. He gave credit to him earlier for toughing it out for 39 points, but acknowledged that trying to get LeBron off the ball more might have hurt them defensively.
https://twitter.com/kylegoon/status/1508257981527478275?s=21
Per Trudell
Frank Vogel said LeBron was “In an incredible groove” prior to turning his ankle, and that he was clearly limited by it in 2nd half, even as he managed to play 42 minutes.
“He was pushing through it, but I did sense (his limitation).”
We’ll hear from LeBron soon.

Per Ward
Frank Vogel on LeBron's ankle: "We'll have an update tomorrow."

AND APPARENTLY DWIGHT IS PROBABLE
Per Buha
The Lakers list LeBron James (left ankle sprain) and Anthony Davis (right mid-foot sprain) as doubtful for tomorrow’s game in Dallas.
Dwight Howard (hip soreness) is probable.

If someone still had hope of turning this season around, there it is
What a (bleep) disaster.
Bad decisions coupled with extreme bad luck. |

Correction: Lakers had slight chance of turning things around, they were never gonna do anything even with a healthy LeBron, this FO might be dumb enough to use the injury excuse card though |

DAY TO DAVIS
Not ruled out for the next game. Basically they are having him practice, seeing how he feels/responds after the practice and making a game time decision each game.

IN GAME INJURIES - WENYEN
Per Goon
Wenyen Gabriel is limping back to the locker room under his own power.
https://twitter.com/kylegoon/status/1508980008785743872?s=21
I was watching this when it happened because they showed him walking off on the spectrum broadcast. There was no explanation leading up to showing him walking off limping so I don't know what happened. |

BRON HEADED HOME
Per Oram
Lakers say LeBron James, who was already ruled out for tomorrow in Utah, was given permission to return to Los Angeles for further treatment and evaluation of his ankle sprain. Consistent with what he did after he had swelling in knee a couple months back at end of a road trip.
https://twitter.com/billoram/status/1509308578565292033?s=21
Per McTen
LeBron James left the Lakers’ road trip early to continue his rehabilitation on his ankle back in Los Angeles, per the team.

AD & LBJ
Per Woj
As Anthony Davis -- out since Feb. 16 with a foot sprain -- progresses toward a game-time decision vs. New Orleans on Friday, LeBron James is hopeful to test out his ankle sprain and try to make a return to the lineup too, sources tell ESPN.

AD LOOKING HARD AT FRIDAY
(Basically what I posted above from Woj so it's looking strong)
Per Shams
Lakers star Anthony Davis plans to return Friday vs. the Pelicans, barring setback, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Davis has been sidelined since Feb. 14 due to mid-foot sprain. Big Lakers-Pelicans game with Play-In ramifications.
