So Kobe is proving to be a better GM than Kup. Maybe he can get him off the lakers too |

if LO had a good enough shot he would have been invited. since the last olympics, players like wade have actually improved their mid-range game, if odom would have, he would be on this team. |
Actually I think it has more to do with needs.
Odom is a combo forward. But they have better ranked players in Marion and Jamison.
While Jamison isn't a better player than Odom IMO, he is an All-Star last season and did fare better since the last Olympics.
So yes, you have a point. Still, if Larry Brown called Odom his best player at the Olympics that shows you he is willing to play at a different level for Team USA. I would have picked Marion over Odom but not Jamison. I don't like Jamison's game that much (Has a blackhole mentality to just keep shooting) |

Arent you one of the guys that whines about LO not going to the post. Jamison punishes people in the post, has a nice jumpshot, a better defender and can board. How is LO better than jamison for USA or the LAKERS |
