Blazers 115, Lakers 108

Quote:

The Trail Blazers have the Western Conference's worst record and have lost six consecutive games.

If that's not a streak just begging to be busted by the Los Angeles Streak Busters, I don't know what is.

Back to back game, probably will get a little lethargic on defense, which will be our demise once more. Their backcourt torches us again, wtih Dixon scoring 30, Blake going for 15 and 12 assists.

They broke Portland's 5 game losing streak before, but it won't happen again.

Lakers 102
Blazers 89

Kobe 33 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds

I'm not so sure about this one, the Lakers are just known for losing to bad teams because of the lack of effort.

I'm worried about this game. We usually don't play well up in Portland. Remember the last time we went up there? I do. Disappointment and frustration. I hope history doesn't repeat itself.

Lakers win, I mean they have to, dont they?

I wanna see Lamar going agressive against their weak-ass frontcourt.

Question: Have the Lakers won the second game of a back to back this season?

I hope it's a blowout for the Lakers. I have good seats behind the Lakers Bench this time, so I am pretty excited. Last time I was so pissed after the game I felt like walking home because every Blazer fan was cheering like they won the NBA Finals. I guess you don't know what to expect with this team.

The Lakers have historically done bad in portland and this time most likely wont be any different. We got killed last time up there and I see us giving a little better performance but being the 2nd of a back to back there is no reason to believe a W is on the way.

Lakers 89

Blazers 100

Lakers absolutely suck on the second night of backtobacks. Also this is a road game and Lakers have their problems there.

But...we have Ronny now. So I am going to take the Lakers in a win over the Blazers. Lakers 99, Blazers 94.

Note: Ruben Patterson was traded to Denver, so they don't have a "kobe-stopper" anymore

Any other predictions?

we will go on a 5 game win streak not including last night. Turiaf shines 2night with kobe. everyone else will be lazy and use back to back as the excuse. The 2 warriors win this one for us

Back to back. On the road coming off an easy win. I've seen this show far too many times.

yeah its hard to optimistic about this game based on the past performance but i'll go out on a limb here - Lakers win in a sloppy game. Blazer's will be inspired though. . For whatever bad teams play well when the Lakers are in town. I am worried about Kobe though cause he played heavy minutes last night.

I am hoping we win this game and the next one. Detroit and San Antonio won't be games easily won. Although, given that this team can hardly win on back to back games. I'm going to say we lose this one. Given the fact that it is back to back games and they had to travel to portland from Staples. So, I'm not too optimistic at their chances. Portland is a tough place to play for this LA Laker team.

5 game winning streak? I definitely want them to win, but the upcoming 5 opponents are Portland, Golden State, Detroit, San Antonio, and New Orleans. The 6th is San Antonio again... I'd say Lakers go 4-2 next 6 games, making the record 33-30

Self-proclaimed Kobe stopper........the self proclaimed is the key word's here..............

Lakers: 101
Blazers: 96

Kobe has to be in strike mode.....it's a road game against a bunch of eager kids with energy,it's BTB and if the Lakers allow them to get comfortable and feeling good about themselves we are in trouble....No digging holes tonite please.......No waiting for the "Game to come to him" Kobe type game........Just attack early and often.....make them pay for triples and traps, balance his attack, work with the team, but still be thinking strike mode.....................But for the most part attack Kobe is key tonite......And please no more of these intentional 1 shot in the first 6 minutes of every 1st period.......

Kobe gets 38 and 6 assists,with 6 boards......lakers win!
