| If the lakers can pull of a win on sat, on this is a big if, it will be huge for them. Thats the type of win the carries throughout the season. |

rationale: Kobe is getting the team to be more offensively confident. Turiaf, Mihm, Brown, Cook, and Lamar can all finish in the post (add a disclaimer beside Kwame's name). If they play with passion we can break Detroits defense. You just need a bunch of guys unwilling to be bullied and unafraid to take contact. For San Antonio - we have Kobe. Kobe has willed us to victory against SA while injured in the playoffs. Kobe is getting into playoff form as we speak, so we'll see. |
I wouldn't bet on it, but if you would, I'm sure you can get GREAT odds anywhere.
But if you want to stay within the confines of this reality, the Lakers will not go 6-0

I think the optimistic view would be 4-2 or better. The pessimistic view would be 2-4 or worse. I'm gonna go with 3-3. I think that's the realistic view.
3 of those teams we should beat. |
After last night's loss to Portland do you see why I said 3-3 was optimistic?
