Yep there's a reason WB hasn't won a title yet. I'd like to think we can somehow make this work, but so far I am not fond in the slightest of WB's fit with this team. His poor decision making will bite us in the butt in the playoffs, if we make it that far, unless it dawns on him that he's a role player, that team defense is more important than him getting to a rebound before LeBron or AD gets it, that his role is NOT outside shooting, and that moving off ball to draw defenders actually matters.
Him and AD are like poison to each other. Worst fit you could have. WB needs spacing from everyone. People dont respect AD' shot from 3. AD keeps getting doubled because people dont respect WB shot from 3 .

This was always meant to fail.
The way I look at it is AD has been the biggest disappointment, at least WB gives you 100%. AD doesn't play the defense he used to and his offense and rebounding leave a lot to be desired. He plays an unmotivated style of basketball, then he points the fingers at others. Dude play up to your stature and stop wining. Just about everyone in the league leaves him in the dust. I can see why he doesn't want to play center, he just doesn't have that strength or endurance.
Kind of remarkable that our team was built thusly: our 41 million dollar star doesn't want to play all the games, and when he does, wants to be able to sit out plays on offense, so we got a 44 million dollar player that can run the offense to mediocre effects and also is basically taking plays off when the 41 million dollar guy is ready to run the offense.
85 million for two guys who can't win separately and together make for a 4-on-5 offense.
