Team: W - L
1 ) Dallas: 45 - 11
2 ) Phoenix: 38 - 17
3 ) Denver: 30 - 27
4 ) San Antonio: 44 - 12
5 ) LA Clippers: 32 - 23
6 ) Memphis: 32 - 26
7 ) NO/OK City: 31 - 26
8 ) LA Lakers: 29 - 28
******************************
9 ) Utah: 27 -29
10 ) Sacramento: 27 - 30
11 ) Houston: 25 - 32
12 ) Golden State: 24 - 32
13 ) Minnesota: 24 - 32

Purpose of this thread is to discuss games that the Lakers aren't involved in but have a bearing on the playoff race so we don't have to look in the General NBA Discussion Forum for it.

Feel free to use this as a game update thread for non-Laker games as well. e.g., I just want to right now after Memphis beat New York by 2 (March 1st, 2006). Here is where I'd post that.

I'll try to keep this post updated every night, but I may need some help from the other mods once we go on that inevitable losing streak and we crash and burn out of the playoff picture. - pokoy

Sacramento beat Cleveland on the road tonight. Drat. They've got a pretty easy schedule on that trip from here on out.... They're catching up pretty fast.

Lets hope we can beat GS bc we are going to have our asses handed to us by San Antonio and Detroit.

I'm still hoping we can beat the Hornets because I think they have been OVERACHIEVING ALL YEAR

SUCKS.

I disagree.

They are inconsistent.

Good on some nights, Bad on others. Pretty much why they are a .500 team. A team that on any given night can be good or bad.

I don't think a .500 team can be classified as "sucks". Average - yes. Sucks - No.

to the contrary, we've underachieved. how many games have we pissed away in the final 2 minutes?

we easily could be 5-6 games ahead of our current pace, but we choke down the stretch. but in no way are we overachieveing right now, no way!

It's getting a little too close for comfort. This would be a great time to make a move. The veteran backcourt help may be on the way.

Knowing this team, don't be suprised if they shock SA or Det in one game at home.

I actually picked them to win those games. Kobe always rises and usually one or 2 guys follow. Thats why 2night would be nice.

IMO if we put together a 5game win streak we will win enough down the stretch to make the show.
