15 losses by 6 or less. What a coach. |
I'm sorry, but a college pick-up team with no coach can beat the Portlands. Don't blame this on Phil, blame it on the lazy ass players. |
Isn't it one of the coach's jobs to get player motivated and prepared for each game? _________________ "I think I've been forgotten about a little bit as far as what I can do on the basketball court,'' the Los Angeles Lakers star guard said, "People forget." |

The only think I'm upset about this team is that we are overachieving. Phil even said in the beginning of the season that making the play-off is going to be tough. I can care less about our offense because that's not the reason why we have lost so many games already. Our problem is defense, as a team we are on the same page but in a different book when it comes to defense.
People don't like Phil because he's won 9 championship with great players. Offensively yes he's had some good one's but all those championships he has won has been won by defense. I don't care if you 2 all-stars on the team it takes 5 guys on that court to play defense to stop teams. This years team and even last years team just let to many easy buckets and when it comes to key stops we don't get them. Suprisingly for a team that is young and should be mobile, we should be at least active on defense but we look slow on that side. |

Outside of Kobe, this team simply lacks the will to win. I hope they manage to somehow hover around .500 and make that last playoff spot. I really don't care about the postseason, because this team lacks the fight and talent to make it out of the first round. If KG demands a trade (which may be pipe anyway), he'll pass on the Lakers if LA finishes the season as a second year lottery team. |

So wrong about the fan comment that it had to be pointed out.

Feel sorry for the fans who never liked the Shaq trade - we knew this was coming (and for a long time). Just brutal. This may be the dumbest Laker team ever. |

Judging from this thread, Big Ass is right on track regarding the fans.
I feel sorry for those who have wasted their time reading this thread. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Who cares about bad fans?
If a team sucks, then it's going to have some "bad fans."
It's just entertainment, after all, and nothing serious. |

How do all Buddhists lose cred? Is it cause Phil doesn't get fired up enough? |
Phil needs to go back to his heritage, "Christianity". |

I didn't say all the fans are horrible but the ones that are quitting on their team, or who are hoping for more losses for a better pick are horrible. |

No one is rooting for this team to lose, i think you should say this team has given up not us. |

Did you miss the thread about hoping for loses? Aren't you the one who said that you've had 'enough of this team' and said 'this organization is (bleep)' ???? Sounds like you've given up to me. |

They had on the Magic GM the other day. His opinion is that for what PJ has to work with this is a great job.
For what kobe has as a team he is amazing. Outside of here it seems PJ is looked at as doing OK for what he has, and for Kobe to have this team even competeing for the playoffs is amazing.
He clowned kwame by calling him a reject and how LO being on his 3rd team is becoming a floater |

Similar statements made by Steve Snapper Jones. The media is beginning to acknowledge how bad of a GM we have.
It's about time. |
