No, Kobe wasn't having an off night, he was fascillitating and guys were hitting their shots...he didn't even need to play in the fourth quarter. we were blowing them out. Of course espn said it was an off night, cuz he only had 11 pts. I have it burned on a dvd. He was 5-12, 1-2 3pt, with 11pts. and 9 assists. we were winning 81-62 after three. he never went back in the game...it was the second game of a back to back. we had beaten Milwaukee the night before, then played chicago 2 nights later when they retired pips jersey. This was the road trip they went like 6-2 on. Whatever happened to that team??? |

It's just a sad state for the Lakers, when Kobe has 35 Points, 6 Rebounds, 5 Assists, 2 Steals...and we are talking about an OFF NIGHT! It just highlights the fact that we are the Los Angeles Kobes, and nothing more... _________________ March 21, 1999:

0 times. Kobe tries to do less against the crappier teams so that his teammates can build confidence. He only takes over those games when they can't convert off of their spoon-fed passes. Everytime they play against a really good team it is a foregone conclusion the other guys won't step up so he goes into full on attack mode to make a game of it. I hat that I have to write this but the truth hurts. |

Sad but true _________________ Chris Mihm - "...the reason he's been forced to take as many shots as he has is because our offense tends to stagnate and then we just have a tendency to throw him the ball. When we don't keep moving, then he's kind of forced to get something up." |

i know it probably wasn't an off night for kobe, but didn't he foul out @ Utah (way back when) and Sasha hit a big shot in O.T.? Does this count? |

This counts as a half at most. Kobe made two critical free throws to force the game into O.T. before he fouled out |

That's why you don't fill an entire roster around Kobe of scrubs, projects, has beens and never will bes.
We have five guys on the team who shouldn't even be in the league, pathetic. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |
