And he'd be an awesome fit once there's a starter worthy PG that takes care of the "PG intangibles" for him. Tempo. Leadership. Defense. Distribution. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Who told you this, the homer across the street or the homer in that dome of yours? |
There was a lot of interest from teams inquiring about Odom at the trade deadline. Who told me this? A friend who works in the business. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Really?
Please feel free to offer up a proposal where Minny would give up KG to the Lakers.
Then do the same for Houston involving T-Mac.
In either scenario, I'm betting that you'll stop yourself and think Why in the world would they (Houston/Minny) do such a thing? |
Of course neither team would want to trade its superstar. Would the Lakers consider trading Kobe? FA is the only chance to add that player, not in a trade. |
Well, weren't you the one who said:

That was you , right?
What is the package that could bring us KG or T-Mac? |

If Minny wanted to trade KG, they would be interested in a package including Odom and others. It depends on what they want to do. If they want to clear space, then Chicago would be their best choice. They are under the cap, so Minny wouldn't have to take much back. But Odom would definitely be a consideration. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

When has Buss EVER spent the money needed to put a championship team together on guys that WEREN'T superstars? How many people actually think Buss would be willing to spend the money to get a team of 7 above average players on the team at once ALONG with Kobe on his MAX level contract? It would take AT LEAST 6 other guys along with Kobe that are near starter worthy to beat the Spurs.
Buss isn't going to spend money on "starter" worthy guys along with Kobe. Never has, never will. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. He guards people, like shuts 'em down. Then, to do 'dat on 'da offensive end. It's like 'Damn, I can't score on him AND he about to bust my ass." |
