There was a lot of interest from teams inquiring about Odom at the trade deadline. Who told me this? A friend who works in the business.

If Minny wanted to trade KG, they would be interested in a package including Odom and others. It depends on what they want to do. If they want to clear space, then Chicago would be their best choice. They are under the cap, so Minny wouldn't have to take much back. But Odom would definitely be a consideration.

When has Buss EVER spent the money needed to put a championship team together on guys that WEREN'T superstars? How many people actually think Buss would be willing to spend the money to get a team of 7 above average players on the team at once ALONG with Kobe on his MAX level contract? It would take AT LEAST 6 other guys along with Kobe that are near starter worthy to beat the Spurs.
Buss isn't going to spend money on "starter" worthy guys along with Kobe. Never has, never will.
