| It's only a good thing when Chick didn't have to suffer with us but i bet he's doing so in Heaven. i wonder what he would've been saying with a team playing passion-less and no pride what so ever sad sad times.. |

He always loved each player even the rivals. but i don't think Chick would've been happy seeing a team come out each day and play passion-less i think it would've bothered him alot. |

How do you figure?
He too would call out guys for making boneheaded plays.
He for sure would call out LO.
He too would beg for help from teamates for Kobe.

I dunno but we could hold a LG based seance in hopes to summon his spirit and get the thoughts from the man himself?? I'm not sure if you have access to Fox Sports West or KCAL on the other side but if so Chick must be furious unless this his part of his "Curse" he placed on the franchise when Shaq and Doc Buss failed to show at the funeral in which case he would be just fine with the current rut this team is on.

Chick always hated teams that played with no passion or pride, let's get that clear i'm not sure if Chick would've been albe to watch this team everytime he will make sure to tell you how frustrated he was on that play or at that team ( the Lakers )....
P.S. anyone remember how upset he was when he accidently messed up a word???

Chick constantly called guys out. Isnt that the argument? of course chick didnt say sucks, but displeasure is displeasure. Chick would have spent 2 seasons saying "what are you doing Lamar", "Come on Lamar take it to the basket" "can someone please help out Kobe out there" Same thing, just one has TV restrictions. I watched and heard chick plenty, I know how he responded to players that werent that good, or guys that were lazy |

I always thought it was a good thing that the Kobe Colorado mess didn't happen when Chick was alive. It would have broken his heart, and watching the disintigration of that team would have made it worse.
That said, don't you wish Chick could have been around to call the 81? He would have been so proud of Kobe. |

Chick was kind about individuals, but he also was honest about what they did right or did wrong. He would have good things to say about each player, but when their actions were wrong, he wouldn't be afraid to say they "couldn't throw a pea in the ocean", or that they "played matador defense".
