Kinda like "I can't believe what I just saw and I don't want to see any more" disgusted kind of a look? He did that in an earlier game when someone else messed up horribly. Can't remember who it was now...poor PJ.

agape

1 : wide open : GAPING
2 : being in a state of wonder

That is the best way to describe it...

lol Yeah I remember that. I think Devean threw the ball away right in front of Phil, and he pulled the Agape Maneuver.

My fav PJ reaction since he became our coach was in the 2000 Finals against Indiana in game 4 I think at Conseco when Horry tossed the ball straight out of bounds with no other Laker even in his line of sight. PJ did a choking/hanging thing with his neck tie!!! It kind puts the whole coaching thing and the stress that goes with it in perspective!!

I think it was actually Rick Fox that was the target of that particular move, but I could be remembering wrong. I seem to remember seeing that particular clip quite a lot in subsequent years when KCAL or FSN put together Laker montage packages.

^^Sounds right, Foxy was cutting or something and Horry threw the ball towards Fox's lane too late.

Yeah, that was it. They passed Dev the ball for a wide open three and he tried to shoot it before he caught it and it went out of bounds right in front of phil...he just turned and looked away, it was hilarious!

Dont be hatin'!! Imagine if I was asking for a clip of Bird waving that damn towel.... then I can expect no response.. but all I want is the clip after Kobe's foul where Phil is completely agape... if you knew what I was laughing about, youd enjoy it too! 'btw, thats me wagging my tongue at you'
