I would love Devin Harris on this team - plays well on both ends of the court - but I wouldn't trade Lamar without getting at least an average rebounder in return. As badly as this team looks on offense right now, they're even worse defensively. Stackhouse would be a quick-fix. I don't think management will trade Lamar unless it's a move that will really improve the team. |

Odom is a role-player and if traded will be traded for a couple of Role-players unless Bynum is involved.
Odom is a role-player and so is Stackhouse but he can do more things such as be a consistent scoreing option. |

And this is why I find it difficult to take the people overly critical of Kupchak seriously. _________________ Game recognize game, Granddad. - Riley Freeman, The Boondocks |

I doubt Dallas would make the trade considering they are top 10 in 4 defensive categories and #1 in the West. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Lets lay some numbers out on just how bad an idea that is!
Jerry Stackhouse
Dallas Mavericks
Position: G-F
Height: 6-6 Weight: 218
2005-06 Statistics
PPG 12.6
RPG 2.7
APG 2.8
SPG .81
BPG .26
FG% .410
FT% .896
3P% .303
MPG 25.2
EFF + 10.55
Lamar Odom
Los Angeles Lakers
Position: F
Height: 6-10 Weight: 230
2005-06 Statistics
PPG 13.9
RPG 9.3
APG 5.3
SPG .93
BPG .86
FG% .450
FT% .682
3P% .321
MPG 39.4
EFF + 20.14
Not one ounce of logic applied. Pure hatred... Stackhouse is 32 yrs old 4 inches shorter and whole lot of stats less in a run and gun offense and, still is behind LO.
Dallas would make that deal in a heartbeat!
Devin Harris, for Bryan Cook who is improving yearly at 6-10 would be a good swap?
So we get shorter and, older?
