Hells yeah!
We need another veteran on this team more than anything. Not to mention another guard would be nice.
Bring Smush off the bench.

I'd do it.
If not JJ, some kind of stabilizing force off the bench (guard or forward). _________________ Just chill and watch the new Dynasty evolve...

But thats what we need, frontcourt help, I think we need it more than a veteran guard. Id like to see Devin Green loggin some minutes at the PG spot, he seems to have picked the tri. _________________ www.lakersbrasil.com

Yes, I'd like it, too. Cut Slava and sign him or Spree or Penny, although Penny has much more health problems... |

Yes,.. it's not like the Laker's current guard (excluding KB) are better than JJ...
I've seen some people here say he's a cancer... can anybody elaborate?
Also, based on PJ latest comments, sounds like LO might be playing in the post more... |

Yes, it isn't like we have loads of choices. I think people are giving him the "cancer" lable because of his Dallas days and his inability to stay with any team for long. I would love other choices but I don't think the Lakers currently have any. |

Just keep Toni Braxton away from Staples and he should be alright! |

He's exactly what kind of guard the Lakers need right now. |

This is what I see from out team.
We are 11th best in the league in Points Per Game 98.36%
We give our opponents 96.81 PPG 15 best in the league
The differential between that is +1.44 11th best in the league
Fg% is 11th best with 44.5%
Fg% of our opponent is 44.9% which is 14 best in the league.
I mean we talk about getting a guy like Jim Jackson, or Jon Barry and other guys, and we all make an argument that it would help us out scoring wise. Well here is another thing Detroit (who I think is tied now with the best record in the league?) PPG is 97.26, opponents PPG is 89.08, they have the best differential in the league (on the pluse side) with +8,17. They shoot 45.3% while keeping there opponents to 44.4%.
My point is not looking for someone to fit in our offense, I think we are doing fine. We need someone on the defensive end more than we need someone on the offensive end. |

Additionally, the Lakers gave 100 + point in 8 games last month (I think 9 times in January)... Defense is the bigger issue at this point in the season. IMO... |

I think so. When he was first coming out of college, Jerry West wanted to attempt getthing him on the Lakers to play the point guard. _________________ Just chill and watch the new Dynasty evolve...

He is pretty slow for a guard. I can't see him providing much defense on the PGs the Lakers will have to contain to go anywhere in the playoffs. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

As bad as the defense has been critical turovers by our inexperienced players are a big reason we've been giving away 100 plus a game. |

Were not going to find anyone that can guard 1's with Delk gone. Jackson is capable of filling the role Profit gave us with better outside shooting. Hopefully he could take away Luke's minutes as well. |
