Both of them are on back to back games...and as of right now The Lakers lead the warriors by 18 and Detroit are are down 2 pnts against Seattle in middle of the 4th, it is safe to assume that this is going to become a close game. So if the Lakers dont have to put in Kobe and the starter scrubs much of the 4th then we can say that we are more rested than the Pistons. PLUS! We get to play at home tomorow...... IF AND I SAY "IF" the lakers pull it off tomorow and win, this good be a great turning point of the season, eventough its late.......JESUS CHRIST PLEASE MAKE THIS BE IT!! _________________ Bill Walton: "Oh clearly Robert Horry is one of the best defensive players of our ERA"

Don't kid yourself about this win tonight. The Warriors are god awlful. The Lakers didn't look too hot either. LO was his usual mellow self and just didn't do jack on offense. With Kobe playing sick, we needed someone to step up and Lamar didn't want anything to do with the ball on offense. Kobe didn't have a particularly good shooting night, and against any half way decent team, we would've gotten our tail handed to us. God F ing 5 shots for Lamar Odom the whole freaking game. With us up by close to 20 and Kobe out LO needs to step up and close the game out. Instead, if it wasn't for Kobe coming back, these bunch would've lost the game. _________________ Ringo "You retired too?"

Lakers will definitely have a tough time scoring, they need to think smarter about offense executions, the Pistons have great D and they should all know that. |

We can still dream... It's nice, to think of what could have been... Of course, there's always hope, but, lately, reality seems to have been beating it to the punch...
You know, I just remembered how we stuck close to the Pistons, before... I think it was the last game we had with them... I can see some weaknesses, in the Piston's Defense... They get overconfident, and leave people open... There is a way we can play them, and win... I doubt if the Lakers will follow the right plan, though... I'm also talking about the way we played the Pistons, in the last finals series we had... The times we won, I mean, we played them a certain way... For those who have eyes, to see... You figure it out... We just went away from what works... _________________ "Teamwork is a nebulous thing. It is as ephemeral as love, disappearing at the latest insult.".... Phil Jackson |

All you can really ask from the Lakers against the Pistons or Spurs is to be competitive and show heart. I think they could have an outside chance against the Spurs, since they seem vulnerable and aren't 100%. But they have almost no shot at all against Detroit. There's a reason they've lost only 10 games so far.
I will say, though, that if the Lakers find a way to beat either Detroit or SA in one of these games against them, it could give them the impetus to end the season on a semi-roll, because confidence and momentum seem to be huge for this team. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |
