Detroit only favored by 5?!

I'm actually worried about this game, Detroit is on a one game winning streak.

Witht he way we've been playing lately, Detroit ougta be favored by 15 plus. Unless Phil Plays Bynum and Ronny tonight, we dotn have a chance in hell of winning IMO. Were too soft in the Middle and Detroit is gonna control the Glass, even on a bad day Detroit will kick our asses. Kobe gotta Get off shots against a guy with a Wing span the size of a teradactyl all night, man i dont have a good feeling about this game.

No, they should be favored by 8 AT LA, 11 or so on a neutral court, and 15 in Detroit.

I'm pretty sure lakers will win or cover the spread. This I think is a REVERSE SPREAD. The people in Vegas know something..they are geniuses and think LA will win. Therefore, they put the spread so low, that everyone takes Detroit. Then the Pistons lose and Vegas banks lots of $$$. My friend taught me about reverse spreads, they are rare..but when you catch them, they almost always pass. Last one I saw was Duke @ FSU...Duke wasn't favored by much vs. an unranked team...now you all know why.
