Anyone catch that last night? When Devean got those two blocks, Joel said Fisher TWICE and didn't even correct himself, the guy is just old. Out with Joel in with Speero I say. I'm tired of Joel not being able to tell which team a player is on...

I agree, down with Myers and bring in Kevin Harlan while Spero puts in work for several years on the radio side.

P.S Harlen does the best commentary when Kobe makes a great play.

Spero needs to check himself on his dialogue. He needs to use Laymen terms instead of hardcore coaching lingo.

I miss Chick.

You think that's bad? How about when we played the Blazers the other night and Myers mentioned Jarret Jack, he always said "off" after Jack...I kid you not. He's done it earlier this season when they played the Blazers at Portland. I know I didn't misunderstand anything...but if I'm wrong, please correct me cuz I was tripping out and my girl was even like "did you hear what he said???"

Who was the guy that filled in for Joel Myers for a couple games this year? I thought he did an awesome job.

I prefer Sunderland. Told him that a couple weeks ago; he was very gracious, as always.

Myers is solid, but we don't need solid; we need someone who can deliver the passion and drama that is Laker Basketball at it's finest. He is fine in the rebuilding stage, I suppose (as was Paul); however, when this team becomes a true contender again, I want the same improvement in the play-by-play...

The whole laker organization needs improvement...

Drafting, GM, players, coaching, announcers, media...etc. etc....

Laker fans I think we are experiencing dark times in Lakerdom

Joel also said Derek Fisher & Lamar Odom were once teamates when they stated getting into at the end of the game.

Joel is awful. I can't stand his voice & commentary. Stu always has to correct him damn near every game. Spero is light years ahead of him. I actually enjoy listening to spero on the radio when im on the road.

Joel sucks and Stu spends all his time kissing the refs butts.

Wasn't it Joe MacDonald that filled in for Joel? That was when Kobe scored 62 against the Mavs and 81 against the Raps. We had a really good streak when he was calling the games.

Maybe he's good luck?

I'm tired of Joel's constant criticizing of the refs. It's just annoying and tiresome.

I like Spero, but I get deppressed when I remember that I'm the same age as him.

Talk about living the life. But anyway, I'm happy for him and I hope he takes over for Joel eventually.

Well technically they were both Lakers briefly, before Fisher signed with GS.

I don't have that much love for Joel either but you can tell he is a Lakers fan. He loves Kobe and the Lakers organization and that's something I value in him as an analyst.

He's pathetic, he has been so many mistakes it's ridiclous sometimes he thinks someone did that play when it was really not him exp: when DG blocked 2 shots he thought it was fisher.

He's a complete joke. [/i]
