|
|
From the San Jose Mercury News:
Quote: | Guard Jim Jackson, waived by the Suns on Wednesday, was close to signing with the Los Angeles Lakers, who were also talking to ex-Sun Penny Hardaway. |
I would take the safe bet with Jimmy Jackson, although when both are healthy, Hardaway is a better player.

I'll take Jim Jackson, better outside shooter and strong enough to defend the bigger guards & forwards, which Kobe always has to defend. |

JJ
For some reason, I could see Penny and Kobe not getting along...
Then again, maybe they could bond with mutual Shaq hatred? |

Jim Jackson because penny is always hurt. Jim jackson plays well off the bench, and can post up small players. I think he's a good fit for the triangle, and his experience would help us alot. Penny would be a good fit, if he could get on the court. |

He and Fred Hoiberg are what Phil would call "100% Perfect" for the tri. _________________ www.lakersbrasil.com

I don't know man, something about Jon Barry in a Laker jersey again gives me indigestion. |

Barry became available, why? Oh, that's right. a team with a far inferior record to ours cut him. I guess that is the key; sign players so far gone that they get cut by cellar dwellars and somehow that will improve our .500 team. _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mu3vkwP3GHQ |
