Yeah... they may suck at times. However, these guys play just like you would expect a young team to play. Some nights they stink up the joint... and then others... they take it to the defending ECF champs and what many call, the best starting 5 in basketball.

But of course... I suspect we'll get our fair share of people pissing and moaning, finding fault with the win and/or dismissing/discrediting it.

Oh... and FIRE MITCH KUPCHAK!

Lay off the dope JD you know the Lakers aren't as good as as the Warriors, Nuggets, Kings or Rockets.

Just like everyone said in October and November.

What are you talking about? I have found nothing but truly optimistic and easy-going people on this forum.

wow, what a game!, i guess venturalakersfan was right, when the the team hustles on D they're very good. hope they keep this up against the bad teams, but even if they don't, now i know they're young AND talented - and can play well when they want, i'll handle the future losses better.

maybe i was too quick to wright off mitch - (can't believe i'm saying that but - there you go

The Lakers are a young team. Young teams tend to be marked by inconsistency.

You guys think we are moaning and whinning too much, check what the fans of the #1 team in nba with arguably the best starting 5 have to say

Can someone on this team grab a rebound besides Ben . Very disappointing perfomance in that area most of the year .

What can I moan about?? I think this is as good as this team can play!! Keep this heart and energy the rest of the season, we can do some damage in the bottom seeds of the playoffs! But it wont happen But I'm still doing cartwheels!!!!!!!!

I think tonight will be a turning point for the team. We just beat the best team in basketball, so these guys know they can play with anyone. We're just a pg and bench player away from being elite. If we get Jim Jackson, watch out!

Just goes to show, no matter how good the team is, the fans will nitpick to death.
Awesome win against a great team. Lamar came through and was definitely the POG tonight.

Never say never, man. Young teams can really get on a roll with wins like these.

Incredible win. I still say though that some people will read too much into it. We know we look great some days and bad the next. We did look great today though.

Haha... sounds like Portland fans back when he was a Blazer. I think RipCityRobert had something about it in his signature also.

JD - I missed your response on my question:

What do you think about us drafting a player like Cedric Bozeman?

you're right! however, when is it ok to talk about when "they may suck at times" and not get accused of pissing and moaning?

Start out in the pissing, and moaning thread and then not even have to worry about it...

I've said all along that our biggest consistency is our inconsistency. That is a characteristic of a young team, which we are.

being loyal fan is great! rose colored glasses and believing in Santa Claus, not so great!

the team played excellent last night. as a fan of the organization and not the players, I expect that effort every night, win or lose!
