BRON
Post game he says the ankle feels OK and by OK you could tell he meant so so, and he is also battling a cold right now which you could totally hear. Which I feel his pain since I just got over the cold that's going around.
So yeah... _________________ #IStillBelieveTaurean

NOTES FROM THE INTERNAL RUMOR MILL
👀
Per Starkand
Rui Hachimura was asked at practice today if the Lakers' starting lineup has gotten back to where they were in last year's playoffs as far as chemistry goes after not playing together much to begin the season, and he hinted that Jarred Vanderbilt is hopefully returning soon:
"Yeah, for sure. Vando is still out, but he's gonna come back soon, hopefully, and our regular lineup that we had last year will come back at the right time. So we're all excited, we've been watching a lot of film and we've been communicating well. So I think it's gonna come together."

AD POST GAME

Antony Davis’ Antony Davis’ vision was impaired and his eye was swollen shut after the contact, a source familiar with the injury told ESPN. Davis will be monitored overnight and Sunday to determine his availability Monday against Atlanta
Darvin Ham says Anthony Davis was elbowed in the eye and wasn’t able to see out of his left eye. The Lakers’ doctors were working on his eye into halftime but he wasn’t able to be cleared to return.

If you scroll up there's a lot on this page about them but basically nothing definitive is the short version. Gabe is back doing noncontact work on the floor and there's video posted above about that, Jarred people keep making vague insinuations that he's near a comeback but he hasn't been seen playing, there's no video, and no one has said anything officially. And then this post right here was the first time I even heard someone say Christian Wood's name in goodness knows how long. So yeah.
A lot of "status quo" that's really been Darvin Ham's line lately about the injury situation. _________________ #IStillBelieveTaurean

A DOCTOR TALKS AD
As always the disclaimer – this doctor is speaking within his field of expertise. He has not examined A.D. directly and does not have direct knowledge of AD's injury.
Per Dr Sutterer
Should expect him back within a few days or so max, if that
When they said it was a scratched cornea I was wondering if the numbing drops would help. I'm familiar with the numbing drops they use them on me when I go get my pressure screened because I have glaucoma and you really cannot feel anything after they put those drops in. So this sounds hopeful - again this Dr. you know doesn't know specifics of AD - but the overall scope of injury sounds hopeful. _________________ #IStillBelieveTaurean
Lakers' Anthony Davis (corneal abrasion) is questionable to play vs. Hawks on Monday. Davis began regaining vision late Saturday night and his eye is believed to be feeling better.

INJURY UPDATES - AD, Christian, Gabe, JV
Per McTen
Ham says Anthony Davis is going through final testing to decide whether he will play tonight. Said the team was cognizant of AD having gone through LASIK surgery in the past and that’s been something considered in evaluating the corneal abrasion
