yeah..I saw it...but it really looks like he shoots him twice in the chest..Henderson looks totally dead..also..Jack doesn't "clean up" the crime scene like Michelle, Tony, Chloe did last year...so where did Henderson go? into the body bag and walk out the coroner's door? that is sloppy too, if so.
You're right though..Jack did give Henderson his word...and that means a lot.. |

HENDERSON CAN FAKE HIS OWN DEATH WITH EASE.
The plan was that Henderson was supposed to "die" so the bluetooth guys won't go after him. They got "confirmation" from CTU that he was dead and they dropped it. That was the deal. |

good finale. i got what i wanted. jack being captured by the chinese.
not exactly the way i had planned it, but it will do. chinese rule! 
my favorite parts were when jack and logan were in the warehouse alone. that whole 10 minute scene was sweet.
the Morris dude was classic
all in all the season was great. |

henderson is a badass....i really liked his character. i think he may resurface in a future season somehow. |

I pictured a simple punch to the nose...but full force and blood everywhere. 
They definitely missed a golden opportunity to stick it to that weasel. Hopefully, the weasel will make an appearance in next season's show and drive us nuts. Then, payback will be observed. |

as far as henderson is concerned, when in doubt always check the official web site:

When the web site reports it, then you have to go with it. The writers have never ever told us someone has died officially and then brought them back . For example, we were never told Heller was officially dead. jack only presumes that he's dead but there is no official word of Hellers fate. the web site says:

if they had said:
