Should be more up on the "Sticky" thread at the top about us signing him.
I heard they just put it on the official NBA Transactions page on NBA.com
about an hour or so ago, so it's a done deal. |

He's been signed on official company letterhead with a Lakers logo watermark and embossed with the words "certified not to be disappearing ink". Look up signed sealed and delivered in the World Book Encyclopedia and there's a picture of JJ holding his contract next to his head with a big smile on his face and a caption that says "Woohoo!!!! I'm a freakin Laker" _________________ I'm On point, On task, On message, and Off drugs. A Streetwise Smart Bomb, Out of rehab and In denial. Regarding the title of this thread, I don't see how anyone can compare the possible acquisition of Carlos Boozer to the in-season pickup off waivers of an almost-at-the-end-of-the line Jim Jackson.
I also can't believe the accepted belief here that some broadcaster scuttled a Boozer deal last year by jumping the gun with the information. Do people really believe that NBA general managers make or break deals based on comments they read on message boards? |
