There was a thread after the Detroit game by a guy that saw Lamar high as a kite at a club. So yes Lamar got high. |

How about a better title?
He did what he's known to do. Defers to Kobe and the rest of the guys to a point where it's almost harmful.
That being said, the Lakers didn't lose this game because of offensive production, or a lack thereof, but rather, because of their poor perimeter defense. |

If letting Manu Ginobili light you up with four threes in a row means you played well, then he played like a Hall of Famer.

I don't get it when's the last time he failed a drug test? I mean he might or he might not but until he fails a drug test how can you say that about him. |

^ Thank you.
Of course, the rest of the people here will say there's ways to cover it up for a drug test. Obviously he's either learned that since his Clippers playing days, or he's given it up entirely. That was the last time he failed a drug test. Hopefully it stays that way. |

LO played horrible defense tonite (see all the drain 3's off his double teaming). In other areas I thought he played well -- his intensity was up but his head wasn't screwed on right on the defensive side of the ball. |

odom closed out well. Manu was just incredibly hot. Theirs not much you can do. Bruce Bowen couldnt even stop Kobe when he gets hot. _________________ Pain is temporary, at the end of pain is success... |

Clueless...it's amazing the lack of knowledge of posters on this board. Anyone who would blame this loss on Lamar is delusional and ignorant.
Try team defense and the Spurs red hot from behind the arc. |

Kobe was actually responsible for more 3s defensively tonight. |

It's a tired old canard for these losers to badger Lamar about his past pot smoking (as if there's anything wrong with the rasta). It just makes them feel better about their miserable little lives to trash on someone else far more successful than they... |

In a another post - I blamed perimeter defense as the Lakers fatal flaw tonite -- w/ Smush, Kobe, Sasha et.al. leading the way. |

Kobe is this generation's Jordan. Ginobili is merely a good player. When you manage to "hold" Kobe to 43, you give yourself a pat on the back. When Ginobili lights you up like that, it's time to tie a noose around your neck. Besides, what was it that Kobe said in response to somebody being on fire? "I don't believe it when they say 'Oh, that player is just hot today.' F--- that! Cool his ass off then." |

I'm gonna give the Spurs credit on this one. They played their game. They laid low in the weeds and then they struck. Timmy was very effective passing out of the collapse. And his guys were nailing shots. That's what championship teams do on a nightly basis. What are they, 46-12??
This wasn't a terrible loss. We had a terrible stretch in the 3rd, but it wasn't an empty loss like the ones we've had against Portland or Boston or Atlanta. We can actually take some good things from this game and try to make the adjustments for Friday's match up. |

When you're hot, you're hot...
There was little he could have done about that...
Not too much to complain about...this was the Spurs' night and they won it...when you shoot that well from 3, it's just meant to be...
No blame from me tonight... _________________ Build around team players, not ISO players. |

Right on. Lamar was definitely one of the guilty parties...no doubt. |

I really hope that he isn't. He's a great player, seems to be a great guy and other than some big-time mistakes his first few seasons in the league, he has been a model citizen (or so it seems from the lack of any news stories involving him). I'm really hoping that I never wake up one day to read an article about his third drug strike. |
