How about a better title?
He did what he's known to do. Defers to Kobe and the rest of the guys to a point where it's almost harmful.
That being said, the Lakers didn't lose this game because of offensive production, or a lack thereof, but rather, because of their poor perimeter defense. |

Of course, the rest of the people here will say there's ways to cover it up for a drug test. Obviously he's either learned that since his Clippers playing days, or he's given it up entirely. That was the last time he failed a drug test. Hopefully it stays that way. |

| LO played horrible defense tonite (see all the drain 3's off his double teaming). In other areas I thought he played well -- his intensity was up but his head wasn't screwed on right on the defensive side of the ball. |

odom closed out well. Manu was just incredibly hot. Theirs not much you can do. Bruce Bowen couldnt even stop Kobe when he gets hot.

Kobe is this generation's Jordan. Ginobili is merely a good player. When you manage to "hold" Kobe to 43, you give yourself a pat on the back. I'm gonna give the Spurs credit on this one. They played their game. They laid low in the weeds and then they struck. Timmy was very effective passing out of the collapse. And his guys were nailing shots. That's what championship teams do on a nightly basis. What are they, 46-12??
This wasn't a terrible loss. We had a terrible stretch in the 3rd, but it wasn't an empty loss like the ones we've had against Portland or Boston or Atlanta. We can actually take some good things from this game and try to make the adjustments for Friday's match up. |

I really hope that he isn't. He's a great player, seems to be a great guy and other than some big-time mistakes his first few seasons in the league, he has been a model citizen (or so it seems from the lack of any news stories involving him). I'm really hoping that I never wake up one day to read an article about his third drug strike. |
