Just wondering what some of you think would be a good rotation for the last 21 games? Who would you play more, less, or not at all.

Personally I think I'm on an island by saying I think if Mckie could play now he could really help.

I'd go with Kobe, Mihm, Odom, George, Parker, Cook, Kwame and Jackson. Sasha and Walton would be on the outside looking in with Mckie getting a few minutes as a veteran defensive player. I really liked what I saw of Mckie on defense the little he was able to play this season. He stayed in front of his man, and wasn't afraid to be physical. This team will only go as far as its defense (and kobe of course) carries it. Our defense looks like it is really improving as of late, and the more we play veterans the more it will progress.

No george? You could add in george, and take out Sasha. Jackson can more than fill his minutes.

I like cook staring games (well, not like, but given current roster....) This team is not mentally ready to deal with coming out of the gates and having no offensive spark.

Keep cook in there to help the offense, get killed on defense for awhile, so after 10 minutes everyone on the team is thinking "if we could only get a stop" Then put Kwame in, everyone's still feeling good about the offense, and go to town.

I knew there was a reason I took that Psych course...

Mihm/Bynum
Kwame/Turiaf/Cook
Odom/George
Kobe/JJ
Smush/JJ

Main differences from Phil's rotation:

-no Luke or Sasha

-Bynum would play 10min a game

-Cook is 3rd string PF

-Three guard rotation of Kobe, Smush, and JJ. yes this rotation would have trouble aganist fast PG's, but Sasha just can't play NBA level defense.

Mihm/Kwame/Bynum
Cook/Kwame/Turiaf
LO/George/Walton
Smush/JJ/Sasha
Kobe/JJ/Kobe (again)

3rd stringers probably won't get much playing time. Phil needs to tighten up down the stretch. I do like the idea however, of bringing Turiaf in for an energy boost. Hopefuly JJ can take a bit of the load off of Kobe so he's not burnt come playoffs.

well i will tell you this my lineup for the end of games and for defensive stops would be

kwame, odom, george, jackson, kobe.

it is unfortunate but the only guard we have that can slow the opposing pg is kobe period.

the only post player than can bother the opposing big is brown.

jackson and george will be our best spot up shooters. with jackson playing the intiator on offense and odom in the post on offense.

to me that is the best lineup we have. not to mention it leaves us some offensive fire power off the bench in mihm and cook. i think defensively this is the best lineup.

wow this sounds crazy but wouldn't marcus banks look real good right about now. maybe the biggest blunder in mitch's watch we could really use his quickness on the defsive end. smush is horrible.

I think you have to put Kwame in the starting lineup against the likes of TD, EB, Snaq, B. Wallace, any dominant PF/C. Otherwise start Cookie and Mihm.

I think Devean George is an excellent sub for Lamar. I think Rony could help but I doubt Phil will ante up.

Kobe of course, Smush, Jim Jackson, and Sasha
