1)you dont have horry, fox, shaq, or fisher anymore phil. you have the 2nd youngest team in the league. you cant expect guys like odom, kwame, and smush to "figure things out for themselves".

2)this team all year long has been coming out flat in 3rd quarters, so when a team starts making a run, you call a timeout immediatly. especially if its a team like the spurs because if they get a sizeable lead, they arent gonna give it up, at least with the roster we have.

im getting sick of this guy not calling timeouts when we need one. sure he has done some good things like putting kwame on the bench which has made him play better, and giving kobe the green light again which has gotten other players more comfortable on offense by taking pressure off of them but damn, when 1 guy starts hitting 3 after 3 after 3, you have to put a stop to it.

Thats a young team for you, especially when your looking at a team that has its 2 starts, walking around with 2 rings, and one with 3 We have kobe with 3, but D.G has 3, does that count?

There was even an appeal from Jackson to a traditionally cavalier crowd.

"Our crowd's late getting back into the seats," he said. "It's not going to be a crowd sitting on the edge of their seats to start the third quarter, there's no doubt about it. If they don't get back early, we may be out of the ballgame by the time they're back to their seats, the way we've been playing."

Is he seriously blaming the fans for their horrible third quarters? Phil- you do your job, we'll do ours. Maybe he should call a timeout at the start of every third quarter to give us more time to get to our seats, that way Kwame would have enough confidence to catch a ball and he and the rest of the team wouldnt feel the need to just stand there and watch the spurs make 3 after 3.

I find Phil to have some dry humor, he totally avoided the question of what's wrong with the team in the 3rd quarter. What mind games this guy puts out there.
