I think the Spurs might do this, not sure about the Lakers but it will be fun seeing Manu in a Laker uniform |

actually manu is a shooting guard.... I dont think we need him Unless he can play the point... phil likes tall guards and if he fill the back court with Kobe that can be a deadly back court

No thanks because the first thing SA would do against us is post up Odom on Manu. LO will go for a line of 40-20-10 and everyone will complain why the hell we traded for him. |

Dagger what is with thes stupid never going to happen trade ideas?
The other day Bynum-Gasol now this?
Why on earth would the Spurs break up a team that's on route to winning it's 4th title (and 3rd in 4 years since Manu became a Spur)

stop with your horrible 'would you trade' threads.
I don't care how horrible Mitch is, I think god everyday that you're not GM. |

I love Ginobili, but I wouldn't trade Odom for him.
But you know who I would trade Odom for??
Antawn Jamison
With his toughness, aggressiveness, driving and 3-point shooting ability, rebounding and post-game, I think he'd be a GREAT 2nd option in the triangle. He's got that hard-working attitude that would fit in well with Kobe.
With that said, I still love Lamar and I'm glad he's a Laker. _________________ Everything. Changes. |

You're glad, he's a Laker? does that mean you enjoy his inconsistency? with that said i'm not shocked. |

Yes, I know it's shocking to hear ANYONE here at LG actually admit that they LIKE Odom, but yes, I like him. I'm glad he's a Laker. I'm not going to go over all his attributes and weaknesses. We all know what he can and can't do. Yes, he can improve. Yes, there are things he can do better. I still think he can be a great player in the triangle and with Kobe.
I'm just a fan of our team. And Odom is apart of that team. _________________ Everything. Changes. |

The blatant Odom hatred can get annoying, but proposing things like this are legit thread topics IMO. Discussing scenarios like this (no matter how kooky at times) is the whole point of these boards.
Anyway, as much as I love Manu's game, no I'd never do this trade. It's big for small, plus even though Manu hasn't been playing in the NBA that long, I believe he's 28. For a guy like him who's game revolves around his athleticism and energy, that's getting old fast. His injury history isn't all that great either. |

I like Odom too... most of the time. You get upset at him screwing up, but he's also a key part of the roster believe it or not. |

Despite of LO getting high and lose the game:lol: , he is quite needed in this team. He's got the rebounds, assists and sometime scoring.
I would say NO.
Spurs can get Devean, Puke and Miami 1st draft pick for Manu. |

No !
Not because Odom is better than Manu, cuz he's not better, but because Manu is a natural SG and that's what Kobe is. That trade would be lke the Knicks when they got Francis who plays the same role as Marbury
We need someone who can compliment Kobe offensively, no only in rebounds ( a guy like rashard, marion or kirilenko ) _________________ The Kings are unbeaten in 10 home games since Artest's arrival, beating opponents by an average of 16 points per game. The Kings have won 14 of their last 18 overall, with their opponents' scoring average and shooting percentages all dropping sharply. |

That doesn't mean he should be able to create a new thread everytime a weird ass trade scenario pops into his head. If that was the case then the whole damn board would be full of 'Let's trade blank for blank' topics. |

Just not for our team. | O RLY? Maybe in soccer or rugby! Seriously, do you really believe that Manu is the better OVERALL player? Could he do what he does without a Duncan down low? If Brian Cook was his PF and Kwame Brown was his C, co you think he could still run rough-shod all over the paint? |

What good is coming from discussing trade scenarios at this point in the season?!
We can't trade Odom for Manu right now even if both parties agreed, so can you wait until the off season before you go crazy with your posts? |
