Every so often i check the lakers stats vs opponents for the last 10 games (via dougstats). Here are some highlights...
- All season the lakers have been beating opponents in off rebs, def rebs, and steals and the last 10 games are no exception.
- Lakers offense has gotten smoother with eFG% diff = 2.0% and TS% diff = 2.6% - we seem to be fouling the worst FT shooters on opposing teams.
- Only downside seems to be our 3pt defense giving up 37.2% (e.g. spurs game) vs only hitting 35.7% (missing laron profit big time here or maybe we are just packing the paint more?)
Hopefully the easier schedule the second half of the season will help the lakers to continue to improve. |
