..........when I get a vagina......... no no, jk, I think not next yr but the next, whenever he is comfy with the triangle and is able to pick his spots on offense to pick his scoring up to 20 per. With averages of 20ppg 11rpg and 5 or 6apg, who wouldn't vote that in as a reserve???

umm , i hope its next year, and these all star things are difficult because its luck as well as numbers, with only soo many spots avalible, we would need to have the best record and have lamar with good numbers, other wise the like of marion ,anthony..would be first.

Yes, T-Brokeback-Mac.

Lamar will make the allstar team if he is the second best Laker and the Lakers are a top four seed before any all-star break.

Next Year

The guy is averaging 14, 9, and 5

WITHOUT being assertive
WITHOUT really knowing the offense, and
WITHOUT being comfortable on his new team

...of course his all-star nod is contingent on him fixing these three things in the next 11 months, which I think he will.

Who cares?

Tony Parker and Manu Ginobli already had won multiple rings before any non-Duncan player was on the AS team.

It's not about individual stats with Odom. It's about what the team needs. And once the Lakers can hit that top 4 spot - I think they will pick him to be an All-Star. The reality is - I rather have two-three all-star caliber players than another bonafide all-star next to Kobe. The depth of teams like SA, Det and Phx has me thinking you need more.

If we can land a second scorer, Lamar as a third option will be a real asset 4 us due to his rebounding skills and all around game

I'm with wolf on this one, what does it freaking matter? A lot of very good to great NBA players never played in the AS game. I really don't think AS appearances are a true measure of a player's value. I just want him to continue to improve and become a consistant contributor to Laker W's, let them keep sending highlight reel SI/ESPN suck-ups to the AS game, for all I care.

When the people that vote for reserves decide to throw in somebody that shows up every 4th game.

When they decide to vote for somebody that smiles evertime he makes the biggest mistake of the game.

When they decide to vote for somebody that hasn't improved since College.

When they decide to vote for somebody that is the anti-continuation player. (translation: one that can't make an easy layup after being fouled, and one that fouls so softly that the oponent makes an easy layup and goes to the line for one)

When they decide to vote for somebody that reminds me of flying through Chicago airport in the winter time. Sometimes you sail right through and have no problems, but most of the time IT FREAKING SUCKS!!! Seriously, when you are the busiest airport in the world, don't you think you could plan a little better!!! Chicago SUCKS!!!

When they decide to vote for somebody who's voice never raises above .0073 decibles. I swear I think he has smoked so much pot that even if he doesn't take another hit ever again in his freaking life, he will constantly be high. Everytime I see or hear him talk, it sounds like he just finished his third Big Grab Bag of Doritoe's, and is looking for another hit from the bong.

In other words, NEVER!

P.S.- If he changes his mind set and grows a sack, then all of this goes down the crapper and I say next year.

When announcers, so called media profesionals and the like dont feel the need to preface all there comments in regards o LO with
You dont know what you're going to get
He doesnt do it consistently
All the potential but....
etc.
he will never be one. When it is a given or a shock when LO has a bad game is when he will
