After everyone calling him Puke for so many months he got his "L" back.

Hope he can hold onto it, I've always agreed that he's not starting
material, but I've never been as anti-Luke as the "Puke" crowd usually
is

He's been coming around since the ASB.

Probably his best game since the 2004 finals. It's about time.

If Luke did that every night, then I could see starting an appreciation thread. It shouldn't be too much to ask for an NBA player with 4 years under his belt, playing with Kobe and Phil to score ten and grab 10.

I hated Walton, but in his last few games, he's been great.

Ok. Nice game Luke! Give us a few more dozens of those games, then I might actually change my opinion about you.

Luke is like the opposite of Cook(who Phil is doing a good job not letting him choke as much.) Sucks against weak competition, but raises his game under pressure.

That's as good as i've seen the guy play. He was arguably the best player on the floor last night. If he can continue to give us that energy off the bench then maybe this team can advance a round or 2 or 3 or 4. He was fantastic...Keep it up dude.

I can't apppreciate Luke yet. Until he does this on a more consistent basis, I will always know him more as the player who effed up the end of the Knicks game last year than the won who saved the sweep in the 2004 Finals.

His last couple of games have been impressive. I'm a Luke fan and I'll admit he's had a long stretch of games (after coming back from his injury in the beginning of the season) where his offense and defense wasn't on point.

I'm really glad he's coming around at a time where we really need it most. Great job Luke!

You know Luke takes a lot of crap from us here at LG but he is definitely showing improvement over the last couple of games and should be commended. I think the problem with Luke and our other players not named Kobe is confidence. We're starting to see these guys play with more aggression because they are feeling more confident these days(even Sasha). Luke is the same player he was at Arizona....it's just a matter of confidence.

Luke's been doing great the past few games. I hope he continues to improve and hustle when he's out there, because our bench certainly needs the lift.

Agreed.

Although I should be fair and point out that Kwame doesn't have me
convinced yet either - although playing this well through the remainder
of the season would get him out of my doghouse.

Luke has his shining moments. The Spurs game was a great one for Luke.

We all need to keep in mind that I think this was his FIRST double double of his career....

I'm hoping this is promising ... but at the same time, I cringe every time takes a shot. That behind the shoulder off the glass while spinning and getting bumped layup was amazing.

The sun shines on every dog's bottom (lol, damn filters!) at some point ... but if he can play like this 3-4 games out of every 5 ... it would certainly help bench production.

I'm in disbelief. Is he really this good? Or did he just sell his soul to the devil for Kobe's jump shot? (Which would also explain Kobe's performance)
