From what I remember, Kobina
Lakers own pick if after #10 in the draft goes to (Boston who sent it to Atlanta who sent it to Pheonix - so basically as of now the Suns get it)
Miami's 1st rounder - we got this pick in the Shaq trade.
Lakers' 2nd round pick - Should be between #48 or somewhere there.
That's all that I know of. |

Did anyone ever actually clear up whether or not we have Miamis second rounder as well? _________________ I'm On point, On task, On message, and Off drugs. I think we have a Miami#2 - but I think it's for 2007.
Could be wrong, but that's what I recall.
We also have some #2's coming from Charlotte. One from the Rush trade and one from the Jones trade.
Now more than ever (with the capspace plans and extra picks) the Lakers need to be drafting better.
Interesting thing is in recent years they have actually drafted better in the 2nd than 1st. |

The Lakers do not get a #2 from Miami.
The Lakers were originally owed a #2 from Boston (Payton trade), but the pick went back to Boston at the same time as they swapped Jones for Banks. |

If our 2nd round pick is like Ronny, then we have a good pick. |

Miami's first round pick for 2006 probably won't be that great, late in a soft draft. The Lakers might do well to trade it if there isn't anyone around who can help the team immediately. The Bobcat's second round picks should be good in 2007 and 2008. The Miami second round pick was rumored based on NBA.com's previous posting of it as part of the Shaq trade. The reason I say rumored is because they didn't list it in Shaq's trade history. _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate.
