He didn't change the lineup for defensive purposes quick enough
some coaches change lineups every other play to get a key defensive rebound or stop and PJ just sat there...
Where was Turiaf? Why did we go away from Brown our defensive stopper? _________________ Kevin Love. 2015. |

The first caller on "Lakers Line" (AM570 Los Angeles) had the same comment, Stylez. He questioned whether or not it was Phil's ego that was the reason for the weird rotations. Basically, it's almost as if Phil is saying, "Look I've won 9 rings with my coaching style...so what if my rotations are completely off." It just doesn't make sense to me either...you have to make quick adjustments when the lineup on the floor isn't cutting it. On top of that...why not use the lineups that have worked. I know Jim Jackson may have difficulties remembering the offense...but he can make some shots if we need them. |

I'd put the blame on Phil and Kobe today. Bad coaching and horrible shooting. |

Bad rotations:yes...Kobe's off game:yes....but to blame just those two for this loss:no. Letting the Sonics get 120 points when their average is around 104... means that the defense wasn't there at all. Defense needs to come from the whole team. |

yes or maybe the defense units and combos phil left out there helpless was the key.....so all in all...alot of it revolves around Phil's rotations _________________ When you do something that you truly, truly love doing, you find yourself wanting to do it all the time.

Didn't Phil play Kobe and Lamar the full 4th quarter in NO and San Antonio? I thought he should have done the same today. I was surprised he left Kobe out so long, but maybe it was to cool down a bit. The could have been the difference in the game right there. |

Phil has nine rings. NINE!!!! The second most ring in nba history belongs to phil.
Phil is trying to win a championship. He is looking for some magical rotation which will take us to the top but we are too damm inconsistent with the players on our team. |

Damn, smart thinking.
How has Mitch not offered you $10M a year?
You're right, I mean I don't know why we trust a guy like Phil who's
14-of-14 getting into the playoffs.

Maybe you didn't notice how Chris was getting worked on the defensive end. Chris was having a good night on offense, but that wasn't the team's problem tonight despite Kobe's awful shooting. _________________ Game recognize game, Granddad. - Riley Freeman, The Boondocks |

All of our bigs were getting worked. Bob Hill outcoached Phil Jackson. He told his 3 young bigs to just outrun our guys and they did it well.
This game was lost in the paint - similar to how the Cavs chocked in Miami because they forgot Z was killing the Heat. _________________ Stop crying and start doing.

Has anyone noticed how much better Wilcox looks than Kwame. Kwame is suppose to be a stud athlete but Wilcox made him look like a JV walk on.
