Yeah, I'm insane but I'd love to bring in Stephon only to watch Phil turn him into a solid player so Phil could rub it in Larry's face. I'm sorry but Larry Brown is overrated and the league is seeing that now. Play the right way my ass.

Look at Chauncey Billups. Who was he four years ago? The thing is, Stephon is too damned stupid to learn a (bleep) about team game. He doesn't have heart, he's no brain. All he has is the liquid inside his head.

I'm not a fan of LB's either, however he did get the AI and Sixer to the finals,.. and made Chanucy an All-Star PG.

I want no part of Starbury (I LOL everytime I see that) or his ridiculous contract!!

The Lakers don't even have the contracts necessary to bring in Starbury. Lamar and change would be over-kill.

Besides, the brass isn't that stupid.

Chauncey Billups had the talent, but not a true position. He just got on Patino's S-List early which stunted his playing time, development and confidence.

Billups was a combo guard from what I remember of him.

He excelled in Brown's system because he didn't need to dominate the ball all the time. He could just feed the ball to Rip/Wallace and then spot up like a SG. At the same time he could pass the ball with good percision. That is the best improvement in his game - the passing as a PG/SG.

Marbury has a huge problem getting into the halfcourt and then just waiting for the 1st/2nd/3rd option to get into their scoring spot.

From the little Knicks games that I have seen, that seems to be the main problem. Marbury wants to drive and kick almost every play. Marbury doesn't like playing off the ball or waiting for a 1st/2nd/3rd option to be set up.

I don't really care for Larry Brown as a man. I respect him as a coach, but to me, he is the type of guy who boo hoos to anyone that will listen until he gets his way. Granted, he does produce results and teams do improve under him, but like Steph said, "Come talk to me man to man." There's no need to try to punk Steph, but this is what Larry Brown does. He did the same thing with Iverson.
