Nets are demolishing the Suns even though they played last night. Can the Suns come back?

I hope he realizes he should use his size advantage on them instead of trying to match up with them and play small ball.

theyre pounding them on the glass and actually pushing the tempo themselves. suns dont really look in synch with each other, amare is looking poor for the 2nd game in a row. also, theyre just missing some shots. but new jersey is very athletic on the perimeter and that is slowing some of the famous phoenix speed down.

yeah, I think going big and trying to make them match up to us is better than us playing small and trying to match them...

NJN has the talent to play with the suns Lakers dont. Unfortunately Kobe will need to score 40-50 in order for us to win. thank God he can

its just a dunkfest rite now for new jersey. carter and jefferson getting to the rim easily on bell and marion, and kristic completely destroying diaw in the post.

raja bell is one of the players i hate the most in the league. reminds me a little of bowen, they are both so arrogant and complain everytime they get a foul called against them, like there is no way they foul at anytime. both also take some cheap shots and try to get under their man's skin.

I just put it on NBA TV and I had to triple-check the score. 79-39 wow. I need to check the stat sheet.

ouch, this is just a disaster for phoenix, down 40 points! so much for that thing that having amare back helps them, he does not look good tonite, their play looks A LOT off. nets are pushing it against them, giving a dose of their own medicine. and the suns are horrible at protecting the rims, jefferson and carter getting to the rim at will. also, kristic just is eating up diaw in the post, scoring everytime he touches the ball.

Phoenix can do no right, and New Jersey no wrong. Kidd just hit a 3 pointer off the glass. 79-39. Nash has missed all 10 of his shots, Amare has missed all his, the rest of Phoenix looks like crap too except Marion.

Suns will write this one off.

One thing to point out is that Nenad Krstc is playing great lately, against all competition.

We gotta be physical with them, Kwame must go right at Amare, he doesnt look right he looks afraid of contact.

The Suns knew they were going to take their lumps trying to work Amare back into the lineup. They had a choice a week ago: Do we mess up team chemistry with the hopes that Amare can be Amare by playoff time, or Do we sit Amare and ride with what's worked all season. The chose to try to work Amare back in and it'll be akward for them until the end of the regular season. Personally I think they should have sat out amare for the season, but that's their gamble...

I wouldn't draw any lessons about Amare being back as regards this game either. It's just an old-fashioned blowout. Unless you can point to why Steve Nash is 0-10 because Amare is back, it's just a bad game for the Suns. Not much to see here for the Lakers except to take note that the Nets are dominating the Suns with quick and long transition passes off Phoenix misses.

Nets just got anothe 3-pointer off the glass by Cliff Robinson at the 3rd quarter buzzer. It's just one of those nights...

Marv Albert is hilarious tonight too.

I agree dump it into Kwame every time down the court and watch the whistles blow.

Amare is not the player he once was. Every athlete that goes through a serious injury risks being tentative when they return. Amare may have been scarred for life. If he is afraid of contact, he might stay that way forever.
