If it's 1 game then you have a point but to get spanked twice then there is a problem and it's the Bucks not the Pistons or the Spurs.

PostPosted: Tue Mar 28, 2006 8:44 pm    Post subject: Amare Not so Stud-emire

"He wanted to play at Portland," D'Antoni said. "He played and looked OK. The next night, maybe a little less. He had a little stiffness, a little less, then last night a lot less.

"That's not fair to him to trot him out there. He can't have fun. He's getting frustrated. So let's stop and say 'OK, you need more rehab.' And that's what we're going to do."

"He's going to play 10 years for us, so we're not going to be nearsighted and think it's so important that next week he plays," he said.

D'Antoni said at worst Stoudemire could miss the rest of the season and come back healthy and ready in October. The staff plans to monitor his rehabilitation closer in the coming weeks.

Looks as if they forced Amare's comeback. Your thoughts on how this, in combination with the Suns recent decline over the past 2 games could effect their playoff seedings? or rather who the Lakers will face in the first round?

We can only hope for a Suns slump heading into the playoffs but our two games with them is going to tell us a lot about our chances.

Looks like Amare's attempted and short-lived return killed their chemistry and cost Nash another MVP and D'Antoni COY. I guess we should hope for the Suns or the Mavsfor the first round but NOT the world champion Spurs.
