Per ESPN:
24 (26) Timberwolves 31-42: The other drama for KG's Wolves? Every loss increases their odds of landing a top-10 pick. If it's lower than No. 10, it goes to Clippers (gulp) as part of the Cassell deal.
Can you imagine the power postion the Clips will be in with a potetial top 10 pick to trade or get another young stud. I really hope the Twolves fall out of the lottery, I already tired of the Clippers success.

Actually this means that Minny keeps it if its Top 10, and send it to the Clips if the pick is # 11-30. So it's better for the wolves draft position to stay in the top 10.
NBADraft.net actually says Minny's pick is lottery protected (Top 14). |

They should actually try and give the Clippers this years pick regardless. Next year they need to get rid of Garnett before the season begins so they can tank the season and have a chance at Oden.
By the way in the title what does good effect the Lakers mean? Did you mean could effect the Lakers? _________________ Mitch Kupchak is the best GM in the league!!
