NOK? Nah, they're rebuilding and don't need a guy like Peja.
The Pacers will basically be bidding against themselves IMO. My bet is Peja tests the waters and re-ups with Indiana. |

Does anyone actually think Peja would take a pay cut to come to LA? His contract would have paid him something like $8.3 million, and you're talking about only giving him the MLE. Why would he take a cut? Surely soemone will pay him al least the $8 million he's due next year. |

Well I don't thinl Indiana is very appealing. They are below .500 and JO is on and off the IL.
He is still under 30 years old and can shoot the ball like none else. |

I don't know where the Lakers would play him. I'd prefer LO in a heartbeat at the SF slot. Kobe plays SG, so where do you play Peja, who really only does one thing well. Not only that, but he hasn't been that great a shooter over the past two years.
Personally I've got zero interest in him. Some other team can probably use him, but I don't think anyone's gonna break the bank on him.
If JO can stay healthy Indiana is a good fit for him. He can get open shots off the JO double team, plus Bird is on record as really liking his game. |

With George leaving this year. Peja would make am amazing pick up for the full MLE. First off, he'd a great offensive threat off the bench. Or we could play Odom at 4 and Kwame at 5. Either way, it allows us to make an offer of Odom and Mihm for KG. Levaes us Kwame at center, peja at 3, KG at 4. Pipe dreams. How I love them. |

No thanks!
I would not give SOFTja the MLE...
He plays no D!
He is a choke job in the playoffs and we already have a problem with soft players on our team..
Lakers dont need him... |

Well, theyd have a veteran leader and a true SF, think of a team of:
Paul/Claxton
Mason/Smith
Peja/Snyder
West/Bass
Whatever Center they got
Thats a serious team _________________ www.lakersbrasil.com
