Have we become so accustomed to the new and improved Kwame that a line like tonight merits no special attention?
A month ago it would have been "Holy Crap Kwame looks like Dwight Howard out there!!!!"
I was in favor of this trade from day one. I was just hoping for a defensive beast but wow. 7 of 10 FGA. 1 of 5 FTA
6 O Rebs 9 D Rebs 2 ast 1 blk
Go Kwame!
PJ you (bleep) Keep him at Center when Mihm returns. |

Props to Kwame, but it helps to beat a team with no D in the front court. Kwame has gone from "gee, what can we trade his 7M contract for?", to "trade Mihm for something good!" |

Mad Props for Kwame. He's really bringing it lately!!
I think there are no prop threads, because this is what we (and what his potential says we should) expect of him. |

when you play well and hustle, no matter who playing, you need consideration. he was oversadowed by a stud: Lo, mister complete player....

Kwame, IMO, was a MAJOR difference in the game. Just changed the way they had to play. Outside-in. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. Yep. He played very well. 15 and 15 is always good. I hope that he can keep this up against better inside teams. If anything it will boost his confidence. |

Props to Kwame even though it was against GS. Hopefully he can keep this up. I think he can continue playing this way at PF if Mihm returns. That way we can not put Cook or Walton there and start a good power lineup. Kwame can still man the paint while Mihm controls tipoffs and shoots mid-range shots. |

Props.
Although once Mihm is back (aside from a Phoenix matchup) I'd like to see
Mihm and Kwame both on the floor as starters, or at least getting starter
minutes. |

Mad props to kwame!!!
I love the way he is playing right now. The big thing that I have noticed in his offensive game is that he doesn't rush his moves anymore, which allows him to finish alot better. He doesnt need to move at warp speed just to get to the basket! Still wish he had better hands but he is definitely improving in that area as well.
Heres for hoping this growth continues!! |

Kwame is just an unbelieveable specimen. He wasn't deserving of the #1 pick, but he shows what athleticism can do for one's game. He's been our best frontcourt player all year. (excluding LO since he's more of a guard)
His defense has been great all year. Glad to see the impactto sho begin to also show in the numbers. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. And maybe Mihm can come back and prove something, and they keep pushing each other to improve.
I'm on an optimistic streak.
Glad that there is a thread in praise of kwame's game last night.
He deserves it. So does odom. _________________ BORN REBLE |

Props to Phil too for coaching kwame past the frustration. Preaching defense and how that would lead to offense.
Adding a weapon to our arsenal. _________________ BORN REBLE |

Offensively, yeah, I think he's making it a lot simpler in his post moves. No more hyper moves where he banks and doesn't hit rim. Guys are also looking for him just a bit more, too. |

Props to Kobe for making his teammates better. MVP!!!
..and props to Kwame as well, espcially since he didn't drop to many passes tonight. He really took care of that problem. |

I've always said that Kwame is a Horry type player. Saves himself for the playoffs. It's just he never had the chance to get to the playoffs in Washington. _________________ The great Laker Center Tradition continues.....Mikan, Wilt, Kareem, Shaq, Gasol, AD....Gasol. |

Props.
Hey, anyone know what the Washtington fans are saying now? I would love to know, especially after his last month of games. Kwame's good play is not a fluke. He's the real deal.
I just read somewhere that if Chris does make it back for the playoffs he will be coming in to back up Kwame instead of putting in Bynum or Turiaf. Phil feels that this will benefit them defensively. Chris is planning to come back on Sunday against Phx but that is iffy. The article said that Chris is not really ready to come back yet and they are still evaluating what's going on. So Kwame is the man for playoffs should they make them. (2 games away, baby!)
Anyone think they'll beat Phoenix this time? _________________ I love LA........WE LOVE IT! |

We have a decent shot. All 3 previous meetings we faced a high-energy running team on the second night of back-to-backs, having played OT the night before. This time we'll be as rested as we will expect to be in the playoffs. If that swings the game by 10 points, we ought to play them about even. _________________ Nerd rock in progress.

Kwame is primed to have a monster series against the Suns. He is too quick for Brian Grant and too big for Diaw. If the Lakers make a point of getting him the ball when he flashes across the lane he will be open half the time he is on the court. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |

Kwame played like a stud last night. I think he's had more success with the Lakers the past month and 1/2 than he's had his career in Washington. _________________ "You Must Be Willing To Give Up That Which Can Be Lost In Order To Gain That Which Cannot Be Lost." - FORTUNE COOKIE |

Kwame is one of the main reasons this team is succeeding right now. Yeah, we know what Kobe has given us, and Lamar too, but Kwame is the X-factor right now. |
