43-28 Hornets. West with 6-6 from the field in 5 minutes.

These threads almost always jinx the outcome. Frigg.

If we lose 2 of these last 3 games and Utah wins out, we're out of the playoffs. Yeeesh.

Kirilenko led the Jazz in everything. 25/9/6/1/7. Ridiculous.

Utah has Dallas and San Antonio up next, back-to-back, on the road. SA and Dallas are still fighting for that #1 spot, with only 1.5 games between them.

Not a snowball's chance in Hell, Utah wins out. They will lose on Sunday... and it will be ugly.

SA has a magic number of 1 (with three games to go). They play Minny on Sunday, 2.5 hours before Dallas plays Utah. So if SA wins that game, both seeds will be determined before either team plays Utah. I don't know if they'll do the cheesy thing of resting their starters from that point out, but if they do Utah could win out.

That said, the Lakers would still have to lose to Phoenix (resting starters) and the Hornets, which seems very improbable. The Lakers have been in the playoffs since day one and I don't see any reason that would change now.

I wouldnt be so sure about Utah losing to both the Spurs and Dallas.

Their both pretty much locked their position. I could see them being in cruise control for the rest of the season. Dallas and Spurs are both coming off back to backs when they face the Jazz. Jazz has won 5 straight already.

But all we need to for Jazz to lose 1 of their final 3 and we'll clinch. Hopefull itll happen. If not I hope the Kings lose all their games and Jazz squeak in. 8)
