"In all likelihood, McInnis may have played his last game for the Nets. He will probably not play in the playoffs unless there is an injury, and the team likely will look to buy him out of the last year of his contract this summer. A Nets source said Thorn met with McInnis recently and told the point guard he will continue to sit. McInnis revealed that he wanted to return for Wednesday's game against the Sixers but was told he couldn't suit up."
