Man, I love messing with you guys!

The Lakers look marvelous since standing pat! You can try and tell me that the Lakers did nothing more than what they should have all you like!
UNACCEPTABLE!

You can continue by saying Laker fans have no business being happy about anything less than a Championship! This is LA!

NNNNNNNNNNNOooooo!!!

This is a new millenium! Things have changed! David Stern has changed all of that in his madcap plan for parity! The MF! We are now just squirrels like everybody else trying to get a nut! Yes our advantage is the most awesome player of the generation, but, Championships are now won by fortitude, skillzzz, intelligence, health, and luck!

It's all about chemistry! Chemistry can only be built through familiarization, and rock solid cohesion! The Lakers just proved how that works...

I rest my case...

Sacramento also improved.

In general, it's probably best to not make too many moves mid-season. It just distrupts chemistry and you're bringing in someone who doesn't know the offense and hasn't had the benefit of training camp. Of course, some impact players are exceptions.
