L.A. Lakers Trade
Aaron McKie and Chris Mihm
and received
Steven Hunter and Kyle Korver (Phili)
Indiana Trade
Stephen Jackson and Peja Stojakovic (sign and trade)
and receive Allen Iverson (Phili)
Philadelphia Trade
Steven Hunter, Kyle Korver and Allen Iverson
and receive
Aaron McKie, Chris Mihm, Stephen Jackson and Peja Stojakovic
Every team gets better and moves in a different direction. It gives the Lakers a young outside shooter in Korver and a nice athletic backup Center/PF in Hunter.
Phili gets rid of AI, while acquiring a better shooter than Kyle Korver, a solid scorer in Stephan Jackson, a solid center in Mihm and an old Phili veteran in McKey.
Indiana of course gets one of the best guards in the game in AI to pair with one of the best PF's in the league in JO.
Would any GM go for this? |

Are you saying Chris Mihm isn't worth Kyle Korver and Stephan Hunter? |

I think he is saying Hunter and Korver are not worth Chris Mihm.
Although I like what Hunter brings defensively overall he is not nearly as good as Mihm and if we want Korver we can just draft Steve Novak in the 2nd round.Just like Korver was drafted at the end of the 2nd round.
Novak does not look like the guy from Punked,so maybe the ladies don't like him as much as Korver, but for the Lakers' purposes he is just as good.
And Saer Sene should be availabe at the 26th spot.He is also a clone of Hunter.
Draft Sene and Novak instead of giving up a solid starting 5 with a polished low post game.
BTW: LOL if the Sixers ae paying McKie's old salary before he was waived under the Allan Houston rule and they pay him half the MLE on top of that from his new contract. |

If you thought Mihm was inconsistent last year Hunter will drive you absolutely insane. Plus, doesn't he have that knee problem that caused his trade to be overturned? |

I actually thought Chris Mihm was one of the most consistant players on the squad this year. In other threads here, I have defended trading Mihm and stated that he was more solid than Kwame on the offensive end. But, others persuaded me by mentioning that Mihm will be a FA after next year, so it may be beneficial to get something for him next season. I was just using the teams/players in the news that seem to want to make moves. Perhaps I will mix in the Warriors and see what comes up. |

I think he has a knee problem like SAR had a knee problem.
Teams just got cold feet and wanted to overturn the trade. |
