I don't. But then, I'm not a football fan. I'm sure the residents of LA who are football fans would love to have an NFL team.

I hope not ..... damn shame you can't take your kids to a game without having the drunks around ...... that's why I stopped going to Dodger games.

That's what the Rams, Angels, and Ducks are for. If you want to be in a family environment then go to Anaheim. I used to have so much fun watching the Raiders play at the Coliseum. It was a good place for adults to be themselves for once.

I want an NFL team, preferably the Saints, if there is no local tax money involved.

Why should working stiffs subsidize billionairs so they can overpay millionairs?

I want an NFL team here in LA. I was too young to know football when we had the Rams/Raiders. (Young as in... didn't care when I was a kid)

For years now. I can't even watch a NFL game, because it's no fun not cheering for a hometown team.

When we can get a team, NFL would be fun to watch for once.

@ NestT

I've found that I'm surprisingly ok not watching football at all, since the L.A. teams left town. That said, I'd love to have a new (or relocated) L.A. team, but the city/state had better not steal my money to make it happen.

I don't care for an NFL team here. UCLA and USC football on Saturdays is good enough for LA.

I would love that as well but, highly unlikely. I wouldn't mind if we got a team back here in L.A. Hopefully one that would face the Raiders at least once a season.

I don't live in LA, but I'm gonna add my 2 cents. I don't think that there are enough people in LA who are diehard football fans. With all of the distractions, malls, beaches, perfect weather for cookouts, college football teams, etc, I don't see the need. Besides, you guys know that if you were to get a team that the city will reach into your pockets. Don't you have an indoor football team? It's not the same, but what the hay?

Bring the Saints to LA, Reggie would sell a ridiculous amount of tickets.

Chargers are having a (bleep) of a time with local city officials, Spanos has mentioned a possible move to Anaheim.

In terms of LA/Coliseum area...

Saints
Vikings
Bills
Colts???

I want a team bad. We need to be represented in the NFL. I use to be a diehard Raiders fan but when they left, I could not root for a Northern California team. I pondered the chargers but decided to wait for a L.A.team

If that is so, why are the ratings so high here even without an NFL team?

Personally I hope the Saints due end up getting caught up here. Having Reggie like we did in college...you certainly would want him here now. It's like having Kobe at UCLA and then losing him to....well....New Orleans.

I was a season ticket holder for the Rams, (not a Rams fan, but an NFL fan), and would root for them unless the Vikes came to town! Then we would all be decked out in Vikings gear, much to the surprise of the people around us!
It's too bad that Georgia wouldn't spend any money to retain good players while the team was in SoCal but suddenly would once the team moved to St. Louis. Also disliked how she dissed the SoCal fans the year they won the SB in MO. No wonder there were signs in Anaheim that said "Georgia, Sell The Team".

+1

not to mention there are hardly any LA natives around here. Loyalty is pretty cheap in this city. (Just look at all the real Laker fans here now vs 4 years ago)

I agree with the sentiment that we should only bring a football team back if it does not involve tax dollars. There was a real opportunity for them to build a stadium with the money coming from charging extra for tickets instead of relying on tax dollars. The damn Coliseum and Rose Bowl people shot that idea down and that's why we haven't had a team for the last 2-3 years. so once more, it'd be great to have a team only if it doesn't involve tax dollars.

What amazes me, are LA fans loyal to the Raiders.

Their owner has screwed you over, not once... not twice... but several times.

Not only did he move them out of town... you would probably have another team in LA by now, if it weren't for Al Davis.
