Let's hope Wayne Rooney can recover from his broken foot in time to play in this World Cup. Even if you're not a fan of England's team (which I am) you have to like watching the skill, pace and talent that Rooney has.

If you don't like soccer, go watch "Goal".

Then, you will like it.

Nevertheless, I'm an Italy fan. But ever since they choked the '94 finals, they've been sucking.

The dude is a lite version of Ron Artest. Great skill but a headcase. I just read today that Sven put an unproven 17yr old (Walcott) that never played a Premiership game on the squad over some very capable and PROVEN strikers. I guess the guy really wants to lose his job.

I am hoping that Serbia-Montenegro can get out of the group of death and make some noise. I am interested to see if the defense that only allowed 1 goal during qualifying(and won the their group) can hold up against Holland's and Argentina's powerful strikers. And Drogba ain't too shabby either.

Rooney is good, a tad overrated though.

Messi will be the man of the tournament. He's a combination of Maradona and Cruyff.
