Man that was a cool movie, IMO much better than 1 and 2, that bridge sequence is one of the best action stunts ever, anyone watched that? _________________ www.lakersbrasil.com

Ending was SOOOO weak. I was like..."that's it"?
Uggh......also the plot was so full of holes and the characters were so shallow and undeveloped you had a hard time making any kind of connection...like you really didn't care all that much who lived and who died. |

Apparently it didn't do as well as hoped at the boxoffice. I still want to see it despite that nutjob starring in it. |

All three movies are so different..its hard to judge...
I liked the first one because it had a lot of mystery and seemed more like the TV show...
I like John Woo...cinematography was great...i'm just a fan of his...
the third was done by JJ Abrams...he did felicity, Alias, LOST...honestly..during this movie..I kept waiting for Sydney Bristow to pop out. The lingo and ideas were regurgitated Alias ideas...(scene sequencing, the techie guy- just like marshall, music, flashbacks, action sequences.) but I love the show Alias...so the movie was like the show on steriods with of course, a hollywood budget. JJ does a good job of explaining things like the voice things that mimick the person's voice Hunt is impersonating...
all in all..the movie was entertaining...pretty much non-stop action...and worth 8 bucks..or 7.50 at century theatres..w/ student discount. |

Agree with the bridge scene.....one of the best use of sound and cinematography I've ever seen. |

I really liked this movie from beginning to end. The bridge scene was cool, but it reminded me of "True Lies." Ending was kinda weak, but most action movie endings are weak. |

not bad, although I expected to see an action movie, it was more like a love story. I like the 1st one better though. _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. I liked it, but I thought the plot was extremely weak. |

Best one out of the three for me. Ving Rhames and Fishburne OWNED the screen, Hoffman didn't <bleep> around like a 007 villain (and I'm a 007 fan),
and the chicks ROCKED. Felicity packing heat was awesome.
Of course, it took a LOT of inspiration from other movies. Just the Cruise references alone -- to Top Gun, Cocktail, Ving Rhames' Oprah-like gestures at the end, etc.
But aside from that, let's see...
Bridge attack scene -- True Lies (1994) AND Licence to Kill (1989 Bond film). Don't believe me? Combine TL's pyrotechnics and the breaking-prisoner-out-of-armored-car sequence from LTK...
Driving to hospital and calling on cellphone scene -- Patriot Games (1992)
etc., etc., etc.
That being said -- I'm buying the sucker the first day it's on DVD. No doubts whatsoever.
