"The Knicks and Bulls recently held trade discussions focusing on UConn star Ben Gordon, The Post has learned. According to sources in Chicago and a source close to Gordon, the Knicks were interested in acquiring the Mount Vernon native in exchange for, "one of the Knicks elite guards" and a No. 1 pick in next year's draft."

"According to published reports the Bulls have out feelers to gauge interest in Gordon."

Looks like Isaah wants to go with an all-guard lineup, and give up every draft pick between now and 2020 to achieve that goal.

Yeah, add Gordon and Kenyon Martin over the summer...two guys who don't address any of the Knicks needs. Well, at least Gordon doesn't have a monster contract yet...though Isiah would probably give him one.

One of the Knicks "elite" guards? Last I checked, Wade, Kobe, Lebron, Nash, Billup and Hamilton are not playing for New York. Marbury and Francis are considered cancers, with a hugh contract to boot.
